Bepi's spruce beer
A malty spruce beer to be made in the spring with fresh spruce tips.Drink it around Christmas and savor the Christmas tree smell and taste in a glass.In memory of my good friend Bepi Rombaldi who gave me the spruce tree I use for the recipe.

Infusion mash 1 qt per lb. hold at 153F for 1 hour or till conversion.Add 1/2 qt per lb boiling water to bring to 160F hold 15 min. Add rest of boiling water to raise to 170F sparge to collect 13 gal. Boil 60 min. | ||||||||
