Grain: 3.73kg German Pilsner
2.88kg Wheat malt
0.23kg American Vienna
0.39kg Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 75% efficiency
single step infusion.
strike @ 160° .
maintain @ 146~9° until conversion.
run sparge until crystal clear.
not too hot ~ 165~70°
Boil: 1hr minutes SG 1.033 51.1 liters
15 min pre boil with a few hop pellets to aid break.
Hops: 9.2g Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
6.2g Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 45 min.)
5g Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 30 min.)
11.9g Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
85.1g Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: american wheat. lab of your choice.
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Keg: 11.3 psi @ 50°F
Dried Malt Extract: 287g for 45.3 liters @ 55°F
Tasting: It's good drinkin'.
