i use the 5 gal beverage cooler method (used as a mash tun) mash with 2 gal. 130° water 35 min. add 1.5 gal. 180° water (should bring mash temp to roughly 145°) 30 min,collect mash wort in brew pot (roughly 2.5 gal.) sparge grains with 2-3 gal. 185° water collect 4.5 gal. wort. |
