Alcohol: 5.4% v/v (4.2% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. Flaked wheat
Steep: steep grains until boil
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.113 3 gallons
6.6 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Wheat extract
Hops: 2 oz. Hallertauer (4.20% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: WLP 320 American Hefe WeizenNeed blowoff system with this yeast.
Log: 04/30/07  Brewed, added 1 lb dried cut up apricots, leave loose.05/13/07  Bottled 47 12 oz bottles.OG 1070 FG 1026 or 5.8% ABV
Carbonation: 5 oz priming sugar, may cut in half next time as it over carbonated.
Tasting: Very nice summer wheat, may add more apricots to fermenter next time.
