Makiti's Wheat - BluBery Style

This is a very flavorful wheat beer. Read other recipes where they had issues achiving a true blueberry flavor. Total bluberries in recipe are actually 6lbs. Due to unknown augar amounts I only put 3lbs down...color is very close tho!

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
11 HCU (~8 SRM)
Bitterness: 22 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: 6 Gallons of Spring Water
Grain: .5 lb. American crystal 10L
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Steep grains for 30mins @ 155° in .75 gallons water
Spraged with 2.25 gallons @ 160°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.109 3 gallons
6 lb. Wheat extract
3 lb. Blueberries
boiled 2 lbs of blueberries and added to wort @ 15mins. Added another pound into fermentor for a total of 3 lbs.
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer Mittelfruh (3.9% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (5.0% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (5.0% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (5.0% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056
Log: Crushed 1 lbs of bluebrerries and added another 2 more pounds to secondary fermentor for a total of 3 lbs in secondary...2 weeks there.
Carbonation: 3.0 volumes Keg: 17.7 psi @ 40°F
carbed @ 20psi for 4 days and dropped to 17 for 2 days.
Tasting: Nice sweet blueberry taste that complments the wheat flavor...smooth. Color is almost dead on...just a little more purple tint.
