Log: | boil 6lbs of strawberrys with one gallon of water. cool to 78 degrees and add to the wort before pitching yeast. Primary ferment for 7 days. Rack into secondary fermenter, if possible filter the beer. the strawberrys made racking the beer difficult. I used a mesh strainer tied around the bottem of my rack tube to filter out the larger particals. secondary fermantation is about wo to three weeks. Add pectic enzime to the secondary fermenter to help precipitate the pectin out of the beer. |

Carbonation: | 2.6 volumes | Honey: 4.82 oz. for 4.5 gallons @ 70°F | ||||||
Tasting: | Light refreshing beer. I think i will add 7 pounds of strawberrys next time. good summer brew. |
