Red Raspberry Wheat
This is a full bodied, flavorful, aromatic, and strong red raspberry wheat. Don't be fulled by the incorrect alcohol %, this beer had an OG of 1080, with a finishing of 1028, which put it at 6.9%. The calculator doesn't take into account the 4 lbs of red raspberry puree added in the fermenter. This is a great summer wheat beer, with a wonderful full bodied red raspberry flavor, and with a kick!

Yeast: | White Labs WSP320-American HefeWeizen. At the time I added the yeast, I added 4 pounds of red raspberry pie filling(puree), that I bought at a bakery. This really kicked up the sugars and thus the alcohol %. Also at bottling, I added 4 ounces of red raspberry flavoring for aroma. |
