This Mead was brewed for my new grandson Sam on 1/4/2004.
Hopefully, we will get to toast a glass when he is old enough.

OG: 1.106 FG: 1.002
Alcohol: 13.4% v/v (10.6% w/w)
Water: 2.5 tsp Gypsum
Boil: 15 minutes SG 1.089 12 gallons
25 lb. Flagstaff Camelthorn Honey
3 tsp. Yeast Energizer
3 tsp. Yeast Extract
Hops: 2 oz. US Magnum (14% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 1 gal starter of Red Star Pastur Champagne Yeast from dry yeast pack.
