HARD LEMONADE

This is one for the wife after I cut the grass.

Beer: HARD LEMONADE Style: Other
Type: Extract Size: 5 gallons
Color:
3 HCU (~3 SRM)
Bitterness: 0 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Water: Spring water
Boil: 15 minutes SG 1.133 2 gallons
2 lb. Light dry malt extract
2 lb. Cane sugar
2 lb. Honey
8 oz. Malto Dextrine
Boil all sugars for 15 minutes with 2 gallons water.Add to 3 gallons water in carboy and cool to 70° Pitch yeast
Hops:
Yeast: Red Star pastuer champagne yeast. Rehydrated with 1 cup water
Carbonation: 3/4 cup honey
Tasting: Very refreshing .Next time I might play around by adding more lemonade or even trying a hard tea
