Yeast: | Safeale 56 American ale yeast. 2 packets, no starter or rehydration. | |||||||
Log: | brewed 1 15 06. Primary fermentation @ 66 ° . Transferred to corny keg @ 1.016 FG with 1 oz Cascades in hop bag. Put under 10 lbs pressure, placed in frig for 24 hours. removed sediment from keg after 24 hrs by pouring off first cloudy beer or two. Carbonated keg and began enjoying immediatley. Remove hop bag after two weeks. |

Tasting: | Have done this recipe 7 times and this is the first with dry yeast. The safeale 56 was neutral enough to let the hops scream through and I couldn't notice any discernable difference between this and 1056 liquid yeast. This ale is reminicisent of SN Celebration ale |
