Bitterness: 11 IBU
OG: 1.049 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 4.4% v/v (3.5% w/w)
Water: Bottled spring water
Boil: 70 minutes SG 1.054 5 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Superior Lager Yeast, made yeast starter the day before.
Log: Started at room temp, 72°. Had good fermentation after 8 hours. Transferred to 48° cooler for two weeks. Removed and let set at room temp for 24 hour diacetyl rest. Racked to 5 gal better bottle, lowered temp to 38° and let set for six weeks.
Carbonation: force carbonated in keg.
