Just a good ale
Note: I used Melanoiden Malt - but even Aromatic might be good
melanoiden imitates decoction- munich like, rich , mouthfeel, caramelly. OOPS FORGOT TO ADD OATS HERE - OATS ARE KEY !

Log: | Pitched on 10/13/01 @ 1:30 pm @ 80 ° F Primary activity seems to have been complete by next morning. Lots of trub/ hops - no filter decanting - kept head down, unkown flavor effects. |

Tasting: | Very Delicious! I would like more bitterness but even my mom liked this one! Lots of diacetyl produced early on, but is ballanced with conditioning - could not tell it was dry yeast after conditioning - I would love this commercially. |
