Start 24 qts.water add 2 tsp. Burton water salts to mash water,heat to 170° and hold at 154° for 70 minutes, mash out at 170° for 10 minutes. ( add 2 tsp. water salts to sparge water) sparge grain for a total of 11.5 gallons of wort for boil. | ||||||||

I'm spliting this batch (5 gallons bottled 2.71 oz. corn sugar @66 degrees,force carbonate 5 gallon keg for total of 10 gallons. Carbs are slightly high for style but I think this makes for a better beer. | ||||||||
Tasting: | First tast of cooled wort it has a malty start with a nice bitter end. |
