Mashed at 153蚌 for 75 minutes. 1.5 quart/ lb of grain (4.22 gallons strike water). Stirred once every 15 minutes Fly Sparged with 4.6 gallons at 170蚌 for 50 minutes. Add the 20 minute hop addition during the sparge runoff, not during the boil |

Yeast: | WYeast 1028 Activator smack pack used for this batch. No starter, and it still kicked off in 4 hours. Nottingham dry yeast or S-04 would make suitable substitutes. | |||||||
