This is an Irish ale recipe that I found. I dedicating it to my brother-in-law and his family in memory of their parents

Steep: | I am steeping the British Crystal 60 and 120, the roasted barley at 150° for 30 minutes. Remove grain |

Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.155 | 1 gallons | |||||
4.0 lb. Light malt extract | ||||||||
I am adding the Maris Otter or British Pale malt extract and boiling for 60 minutes | ||||||||
Hops: | 0.34 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.) 0.17 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 45 min.) 0.17 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.) |

Yeast: | Cool the wort down to 70° add Wyeast Irish ale yeast. | |||||||
Log: | I plan on fermenting at around 70°-75° for 2 weeks will check FG and bottle. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 2.0 volumes | Dried Malt Extract: 4.41 oz. for 4 gallons @ 72°F | ||||||
I will carbonate/condition in my basement, Temperature runs between 55°-60° |
