A potent Old Ale, brewed for my best friend Laura (aka Thumper) on her 33d birthday.

Steep: | Add the whole grains to cold water, bring to a boil, shut off the heat and steep for 15 minutes. Strain out the grains and sparge with 2 quarts of hot water. | |||||||
