I haven't made this one yet. I would love to hear what people thought of it.

Steep: | Throw grains into steeping bag(s) and toss into the brew pot with 2 gallons of water. Bring water to 160-170°. Hold for 15-20 minutes. (Ofcourse, if this doesn't fit your steeping ideas, use whatever technique you prefer.) | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.157 | 2 gallons | |||||
7 lb. Light malt extract 1 lb. Brown sugar |

I usually add a cup or so of malt dextrine to my porter/stouts. I like a little extra head, and it doesn't seem to effect flavor. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Eroica (12% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.) |
