Blackpowder Porter #3
I started this porter as a 7 gallon batch. I decided to change to a 6 gallon batch, which turned into a 5.5 gallon batch. I thought it would be like syrup, but it is the best porter I have made. I will definitely make this again. The high IBU's are offset by the complex maltiness.

Tasting: | I wouldn't change a thing. This is not a porter for the faint of heart. It has a high ABV and a complex taste. I was trying for something similar to a Sierra Nevada Porter, but I like this much better. If you like it heavy you will like this one. |
