3. lb. British amber
3. lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
3. lb. Belgian Special B
4. lb. British chocolate
Mash: 80% efficiency
bring cold water up to 158 degrees. hold mash temp for 1 hour then sparge with 170 degrees into boiling pot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.078 25 gallons
Hops: 4 oz. Kent Goldings (6.7% AA, 60 min.)
4 oz. Willamette (5.6% AA, 40 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (6.7% AA, 20 min.)
4 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: huge amount of yeast i got from our homebrew club brewer.
