Primo Porter

This beer is in the style of Sierra Nevada Porter - and I
think I managed to hit the nail square on the head with this one.
It's got a lovely chocolate malt nose and a wonderfully rich
and chewy flavor that keeps you asking for more... I think the
small amount of black patent gives it that extra "richness".

Try it!

Tasting: In addition to the notes above, the beer came out a deep garnet
color when held in front of a bright light - ala Terry Foster in
his book "Porter". Bitterness is right on - the Galena bittering
hops remaining unobtrusive but giving the proper balance to the malt.
If you can't tell aready, I really like the way this one came out! ;-)
