Steeped grains in 2 gallons 170° water for 70 minutes . Sparged with 3 gallons 170° water. Added water to get 6.5 gallons. |

Added hops as scheduled. Add 1 tsp. Irish moss last 10 minutes of boil. | ||||||||
Hops: | .75 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.) .5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.) |

Log: | Primary for 7 days @ 65° . Racked to glass carboy for 3 days, then to plastic for 3 days all @ 65° . Primed with 5oz. corn sugar. Bottled for 7 days before chilling. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 5 oz. priming (corn) sugar. | |||||||
Tasting: | Good taste, not too bitter, not too sweet. Nice chocolate after taste. Third time brewed and we all still enjoy it. |
