Bombs Over Baghdad Stout

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.0 gallons
Color:
139 HCU (~44 SRM)
Bitterness: 35 IBU
OG: 1.064 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 6.7% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Water: tsp gympsum
Grain: 4 oz. British amber
4 oz. Belgian CaraMunich
6.0 oz. Belgian Special B
8.0 oz. British crystal 50-60L
8.0 oz. British chocolate
Steep: Mix grains with 2 qts 160° water. Cover pot and put into oven on warm for 2 hrs while at my hockey coaches meeting. Temp stayed at 155° .
Boil: 30 minutes SG 1.058 5.5 gallons
7.99 lb. Dark malt extract
Boiled wort from mini-mash only, along with hops in 2 gal water. Dissolved 8lbs. Williams English Stout LME at end of boil.
Hops: 1.00 oz. Yakima Magnum (14% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. British Challenger (aroma)
Yeast: WLP008 east coast ale
