Grain: 815g American chocolate
167g Roasted barley
300g Oats (raw)
Steep: 300 grams Brazilia or equivalent Coffee used as part of boil water.
Steep grains for 30 minutes at 155° F
Boil: 30 minutes SG 1.078 10 gallons

6.5kg Dark dry malt extract
1kg Brown sugar
Add extract when boil reaches 185° F, after extract is added get rolling boil for 2-3 minutes before adding hops.
Added Lactose and Dextromalt last 15 minutes of Boil.
Hops: 40g Brewers Gold (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
28g Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
23g Cluster (7% AA, 45 min.)
28g Fuggles (4.75% AA, 45 min.)
Yeast: Muntons Dry
Log: Brewed 3/22/14 Total Brew time: Long time, little one was helping
Primary for 14 days
Divided the batch into 2 Secondary for 28 days.
1st 5 Gallon Batch
1st Secondary: Add soaked oak chips (Bourbon Small).
2nd 5 Gallon Batch
2nd Secondary: Add Vanilla Beans
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Cane Sugar: 58.4g for 4 gallons @ 60°F
