Black Muddy River Oatmeal Stout

I've never tried making a clone but i guess this was a try at cloning
Wild Irish Rogue Oatmeal Stout. don't know if it came out close or not
and don't really care cuz this is one tasty stout.

Type: All grain Size: 11 gallons
Color:
111 HCU (~38 SRM)
Bitterness: 60 IBU
OG: 1.065 FG: 1.017
Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: 1/4tsp Lactic Acid to Mash Water
1/2tsp lactic acid to sparge water
Grain: 20 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American crystal 90L
1 lb. American crystal 120L
1 lb. American chocolate
.25 lb. American black patent
1 lb. Roasted barley
1 lb. Flaked barley
1 lb. Flaked oats
Mash: 76% efficiency
mashed at 154F for 90 minutes.
mashed out at 168F for 15 minutes.
sparge took 2 hours!
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.057 12.5 gallons
massive hotbreak...almost drowned myself in boiling wort!
Hops: 6 oz. Cascade (7% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Cascade (7% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: 5.5 gallons used wyeast 1056 in 1/2 gallon starter.
5.5 gallons used whitbread dry yeast rehydrated.
Log: stuck ferment at 1.030...temp may have dropped too low. added 4tsp of
amalyse enzyme to each fermenter. ferment resumed.
Carbonation: kegged 1/2, bottled other on 11/02.
Tasting: took keg to halloween party after about 1 month of aging. was a major hit
and keg was dead within 45 minutes. despite the amount of hops used, it's
a well balance stout. Rogue uses aproximately the same amount of IBU's.
seems to mix well with the amount of crystal and dark grains. will age
bottles for as long as i can! :-)
