1 lb. German Pilsner
Mash: 77% efficiency
Crush and steep in 2.4 gallon's (9 L) 150°F/160°F (65.5°C) water for 30 minutes:
1 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American crystal 10L
1 lb. German Pilsner

Boil: 45 minutes SG 1.097 2.4 gallons
1.5 lb. Light dry malt extract
1.75 lb. Cane sugar
Strain the grain water into your brew pot, then add 1.5 lb cane sugar. Boil for 45 minutes following the hop's schedule.
10 minutes before aroma hops add 1 lb. Light dry malt extract.
Add cold water to hit 4 gallons, cool the wort then pitch your yeast as usual.
Hops: 0.25 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 45 min.)
0.50 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
0.25 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 30 min.)
0.5 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
0.5 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: UsafAle US-05
