Bob's Angler Ale
This is a beer that my dad asked me to brew for his birthday. He likes a light color, with moderate hop flavor. I added the Carastan for body.

Log: | Wow the batch went crazy during primary fermentation, it blew the lid clean off. Used a blow-off to control the overactive fermentation. I was quite scared that the lid blowing off might introduce bacteria, but it never happened. Racked to the secondary for just 1 week (I was running out of time).
Carbonation: | 2.4 volumes | Corn Sugar: 5.14 oz. for 5 gallons @ 74°F
Tasting: | 2 weeks after bottling and boy am I surprised! This is one great tasting brew. Good body, nice finish. I will definitely brew this again. Wonderful summer brew. Serve it cold. |
