Steep: | Place grains in cold water and bring to 160 °F. Steep at 160 °F for 20 minutes. Discard grains and begin boil. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.111 | 2 gallons | |||||
3 lb. Amber dry malt extract 1 lb. Brown sugar |

Add 1 14 oz can pumpkin pie filling at last 15 min of boil. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Cluster (7% AA, 60 min.) 0.5 oz. Liberty (4% AA, 15 min.) 0.5 oz. Liberty (aroma) |

Log: | Fermented in primary for 7 days at 72°F. Added 2 tsp nutmeg, 2 tsp, ginger and 2 tsp vanilla when transfered to secondary fermenter. | |||||||
Carbonation: | I am planning on force carbonating 1/2 and bottling the other 1/2 of this batch. |
