I made this for a fishing trip July/August 2007. It was going to be hot out, so everyone wanted a light, thirst quencher that was not wimpy.

Mashed all grains at 154 ° for 60 minutes. Sparged with 3 gallons 167 ° | ||||||||

Yeast: | Yeast 1056-put this batch on top of previous yeast cake in recently emptied carboy. WOW, talk about a quick start. 10 minutes and the wort was fermenting like crazy. Finished primary in 4 days. | |||||||
Log: | Brewed 7.7.07 Fermented at 68-72 depending on the weather! 4 days primary (fast start with yeast cake) 1 weeks secondary at 70 °. 1 week in frige at 40 ° |

Tasting: | Excellent, just what I had hoped for. Just enough complexity to keep it from being boring, and light enough for a 3 day session! Next time it will be all grain-I just got a decent mash tun. |
