Tasting: | Rather than risk infection by returning the hydrometer sample to the bottling bucket, I generally take this opportunity to get the first taste of the new beer. I am very pleased to say that this Pale Ale fully meets my expectations. The first impression is of a generous malty sweetness followed by a welcome bitterness as the hops assert themselves leaving a very pleasant aftertaste. |
