Log: | Meant to use Wyeast 1084, but starter got contaminated. Pitched dry yeast at 74°. Brewed on 4/24. Racked to secondary on 5/3. Dry hopped with .5 oz EKG, .5 oz Willamette. Bottled on 5/12.
Carbonation: | Primed with 3/4 cup corn sugar.
Tasting: | This is a excellant IPA, mellow, with a toasty flavor from the biscuit malt. Excellant head retention. Nice and hoppy, but not overwhelmingly bitter. Still enjoying it in late August, and it is better than ever. Wouldn't change anything. Just about perfect. Will see what liquid yeast does for it when I brew it again. |
