Steep: | Put grain bag into cold water and bring up to 160°F. Remove from heat and steep for 30 minutes. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.068 | 4.5 gallons | |||||
1 lb. Rice extract 7 lb. 3 oz. Light malt extract |

1/2 teaspoon Irish Moss the last 15 min. of boil. |

Hops: | 4 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.) 4 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.) 2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.) 2 oz. Willamette (aroma) |

Log: | Added 2 oz. Willamette in a sterilized hopbag weighted with sterilized marbels to secondary and dry hopped until FG is reached. |

Carbonation: | 3/4 cup of corn sugar dissolved in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water. | |||||||
Tasting: | All hops were loose and the Goldings were steeped for 10 minutes after the boil, not added last 15 min. of boil. Gotta love those wonderful hops. |
