Grain: 10 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. 8 oz. American Vienna
1 lb. Carapils
8 oz. American crystal 120L
Mash: 68% efficiency
Added grain to 15 qts. of 164 F water. Mashed at about 150-145 for 90 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.043 7.5 gallons
Irish Moss at 15 minutes BEOB
Hops: 1 oz. Centennial (9.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Centennial (9.5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Centennial (9.5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. amarillo (8% AA, 5 min.)
.5 oz. amarillo (aroma)
.5 oz. amarillo (aroma)
Yeast: WLP060 American Ale Yeast Blend
Log: Brewed on 6-24-07. Yeast starter for 48 hours, ferment at about 70F. Dry hop .5 ounces (amarillo) in primary and .5 in secondary.
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar and bottle.
