Water: | Pre-boil 3.5 gallons of water the night before and allow to cool. This water will be added to the wort when moving to your primary fermenter. | |||||||

Steep: | Pour grains into muslin sack and tie knot at top of back to ensure grains can freely circulate within the sack. | |||||||

This brew uses the "extract late". At the beginning of boil, only add 4 lbs of the LME. Add the remaining LME with 20 minutes remaining. This will boost your hop utilization while ensuring the LME is sufficiently boiled/broken down. Also, add irish moss last 20 minutes of boil. | ||||||||
