O'Neill's Double IPA
Haven't made this yet. Never have made this high of a gravity brew before. Hope it turns out well!

Mash: | 70% efficiency | |||||||
Mash at 154° for at least an hour. Sparge w/ 180° water for at least an hour. Collect 6.5 gallons of wort and boil for 70 min. |

Boil: | 70 minutes | SG 1.068 | 6.5 gallons | |||||
1 lb. Honey | ||||||||
Add 1 tsp of Irish moss in the last 15 min of boil. Add 1 lb of honey at last 30 seconds of boil. |

Hops: | 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 45 min.) .5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 30 min.) .5 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 30 min.) .5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 15 min.) .5 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (aroma) 1 oz. Centennial (aroma) 1 oz. Northern Brewer (aroma) |

Yeast: | WLP001 California Ale Yeast in a 2 quart starter. | |||||||
Log: | Primary 1 week. Secondary 2 weeks(add aroma hops into secondary). Bottle age 3 weeks. I'll let y'all know how this one turns out when i get around to making it. Let me know how it turns out if you make it! Seems like a solid recipe. Should turn out to be a hoppy, mildly sweet, high gravity s#*t kicker! |

Carbonation: | 3/4 cup of corn sugar boiled in 2 cups of water. brought down to 70° and put into bottling bucket. |
