Bitterness: 17 IBU
OG: 1.070 FG: 1.017
Alcohol: 6.9% v/v (5.4% w/w)
Water: no water treatment
Grain: 275g Belgian aromatic OR Melanoidin Malt
275g Belgian CaraVienne OR CARARED
Steep: steep the grains in 67°C for 40 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.062 25 liters
4kg Light malt extract
380g Belgian candi sugar
275g Honey
Boil begins with grain tea only.
Add Candy sugar and honey at 20 minutes
Add extract at 40 minutes
1 teaspoon Irish moss - 15 minutes
Hops: 30g Styrian Goldings (5.2% AA, 60 min.)
15g Hallertauer (4.1% AA, 15 min.)
15g Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: Safbrew T-58 from Fermentis.
will try s-33 next time
