Tasting: | It's a bit like Fat Tire, except with a little more toasted malt character. The Saaz could easily have been Willamette or something else, the hop flavor is mostly overshadowed by the malt (which is what I was aiming for.) Possibly reduce the amber malt to 6 ounces or even 4 if you want a more subdued toasty flavor. |
