Great. This batch turned out great. A friend, who does not
like homebrew, actually ask for a second.

Water: | I use the one gallon jugs of water from my local market. Two gallons for one dollar. No adjustments. |

Grain: | 8 oz. British crystal 70-80L | |||||||
Steep: | I placed the grain in the loose cheese cloth and brought the heat up to 170° . I took it off the heat and let stand for 30 minutes. |

Hops: | 1.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 5 min.) |

Yeast: | I used California WLP 001 liquid yeast at roon temperture. |

Log: | HEY! KEY NOTE! I use large ice cubes to cool the wort. From boiling to pitching it took only 19 minutes. I pitched at 69 degrees. I use two one liter water bottles and then just cut them down the sides. I brew on the 28 Oct and placed in the secondary on the 6th of Nov. I then bottled on the 15 Nov. |
