Water: Store bought spring water with 1/2 tsp. calcium cloride added at the boil.
Grain: .5 lb. American crystal 40L
6 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Steep grains @ 80deg. and remove @ 180deg.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.171 1.5 gallons
6.6 lb. Light malt extract
1 tsp Irish Moss added at boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.75 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 10 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 10 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056, no starter
