Steep: | Steep crystal and flaked barley in 2.5 US Gallons water for 30 min between 130-170°F. Remove before boil. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.083 | 2.5 gallons | |||||
4 lb. Light dry malt extract | ||||||||
Irish moss last 15 minutes of boil. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 15 min.) |

Yeast: | White Labs WLP001-California Ale | |||||||
Log: | Primary ferment for 1 week. Place 5 lbs diced, pasteurized black cherries in secondary and rack beer on top. Ferment for another week. Rack to tertiary and clear for at least a week. Bottle and condition for 1-2 weeks. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 3/4 cup corn sugar boiled in 1 pt water. | |||||||
Tasting: | Good stuff. Enough said. |
