Water: | Tap water for the boil. Filtered water to top off the carboy. | |||||||
Grain: | 4 oz. American crystal 40L 2 oz. American crystal 60L 6 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils) |

Steep: | Steep grains at 150° in 1/2 gal. of water. Rinse with 1/2 gal of 150°. Add water to total 3 gal for the boil. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.090 | 3 gallons | |||||
7 lb. Light malt extract | ||||||||
Add Irish Moss last 15 min. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Nugget (13.5% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Perle (8% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (aroma) |

Log: | 7 days in primary. 7 days in secondary. Dry hopped with 1/2 oz Cascade in secondary. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 3/4 cup corn surgar at bottling | |||||||
Tasting: | After 2 weeks in the bottle this was great. Everyone tells me not to change a thing. Some like it better than SNPA. |
