My first recipe for a Pale Ale.

Water: | The boil is made with 2.5 gal of untreated tap water from my well. Spring water will be added to the fermentor to complete 5 gallons. | |||||||
Grain: | 0.5 lb. German Pilsner 0.5 lb. German Munich |

Steep: | Grains are steep 30 minutes at 155°F. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.095 | 2.5 gallons | |||||

Irish Mosh is added after 40 minutes of boiling. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (aroma) |

Yeast: | White Labs California Ale is pitched at 80°F and ferments at 70°F. After 7 days the beer is transfered to the secondary fermentor for 7 more days of fermentation. | |||||||
Carbonation: | The beer is carbonated with CO2 in the keg. It is kept for 10 days at 10psi and 50°F. Enjoy. |
