Park River Pale

Adaptation of Mirror Pond Pale Ale clone.

14 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 73 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.7% w/w)
Grain: 6 oz. 2-row pale malt
8 oz. Munich Malt 10L
2 oz. Crystal Malt 60L
Steep: Steep grains in 1 qt of water at 150° for 30 minutes. Rinse grains with .5 qt of water at 170°. Stir in dried malt extract and bring to a boil.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.098 1.5 gallons
3 lb. 0 oz. Light malt extract
8 oz. Light dry malt extract
Add 1 oz of Centennial hops at 60 minute mark. Add .5 oz Centennial, and .5 oz Cascade hops at 30 minute mark. Add 1 oz Cascade hops at 15 minute mark, also adding 3 lbs liquid malt extract and irish moss.
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
.5 oz. Centennial (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 American Ale yeast.
