Alcohol: 5.3% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: up to 1 Tbsp Gypsum
Grain: 0.5 lb. American crystal 20L
0.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Add grain to 1 gal water and bring to 160°. Turn of heat.
Steep 30-45 minutes. Rinse with up to 1/2 gallon water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.114 2.5 gallons
6.5 lb. Light malt extract
12 oz. Honey
Add a TSP Irish Moss with 15 min boil remaining
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: White Labs California Yeast
Log: ferments a week, secondary a week to 10 days
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar
