Nugget American Pale Ale
An all-Nugget American Pale Ale which was served at my firstborn's baby shower... brew date: 4/1/10. An excellent brew -- perhaps a tad more crystal malt (up it from 10% to 12%) and a little more Vienna malt (say maybe 2 lbs, with 1 lb less 2-row) and this would be a perfect beer.

1/2 Wirfloc tab added 5 minutes prior to flameout, 1/2 tsp Wyeast yeast nutrient added 5 minutes prior to flameout. | ||||||||

Log: | "Aroma" hop addition is a seven day dry hop. | |||||||
Carbonation: | Keg and force carbonate. | |||||||
Tasting: | Excellent flavor. Hoppy but smooth, mellow bitterness. Nugget can function as a stand alone hop, but its bitterness was its shining quality. Another hop variety or two mixed into the late additions would make this recipe worthy of 25 gallon batches. |
