Bitterness: 21 IBU
OG: 1.060 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Water: 1tsp gypisum in the mash
Grain: 5 lb. German Pilsner
5 lb. German Munich
1 lb. American crystal 10L
Mash: 80% efficiency
mash in at 122degs. for 30mins (protein rest),raise to 160degs.to convert. hold until converted. mash out with 170deg. gather 6.5 gals.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.050 6.5 gallons
add a pinch of irish moss with 20mins left in boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: white laps german lager yeast
Log: start ferment at 68degs. until activity is seen . lower to 55degs. for 1 week, rack and cold lager for as long as you can wait! preferably at lease a month.
