Marzen v1.0
1st attempt at making a Lager. Wanted to celebrate the fact i nearly cut off my finger moving my new(really old and green) lagering refrigerator into my garage. Really wanted to keep it simple so that is why I used only Pilsner and Munich malts.

Single-infusion for 90min at 155°. Actually got really good extraction since my supplier gets really good Pilsner malt. | ||||||||

Hops: | 1.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 60 min.) | |||||||
Yeast: | Wyeast Bavarian Lager Yeast, Smack Pack. | |||||||
Log: | Fermented at 45-48° for two weeks. Transfered to Secondary and lagered for 3 months at 34°. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 3/4 cup corn sugar. Bottled. I really need to invest in kegs. | |||||||
Tasting: | Just bottled it. Tasted absolutly terrific coming out of secondary. I might not Lager this long next time, but i will definatly brew this again. |
