2.3 lb. Red Wheat malt
.5 lb. American crystal 10L
Mash: 80% efficiency
Add 1/2# of rice hulls to the mash to prevent a stuck sparge. Single Infusion Mash @ 152°F for 60 min. Sparge @ 168°-172°.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.040 6.25 gallons
1 Whirlfloc tab @ 15 min. remaining.
Hops: .75 oz. Hallertauer (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Hallertauer (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast #1056 American Ale w/1000 mL starter.
Carbonation: For 2.5 vol's CO2 use 4.28 oz corn sugar. Or, keg and force carb.
