Alcohol: 6.2% v/v (4.9% w/w)
Grain: 1.0 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. Pumpkin (canned)
Mash: 80% efficiency
I will be mashing 2 cans of pumpkin (no spices, no additives, no preservatives) with one pound American 2-row for one hour at 170°.
Boil: minutes SG 1.073 4 gallons
5 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Wheat extract
I added 2 tblsp of Pumpkin Pie Spices and 2 tblsp Vanilla extract at 5 minutes in the boil.
Hops: 1.0 oz. Tettnanger (3.9% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Tettnanger (3.9% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Using Wyeast American Ale 1056 for this.
Log: I added 2tblsp Pumpkin Pie Spices to the secondary as well as 2 tblsp Vanilla Extract.
