Bee-Sting Ale
We aimed to make a light, refreshing beer for the summer with a hint of ginger.
Similar to one I brewed a few years ago which turned out to be excellent!

2 1/4 oz of grated ginger root added 20 mins prior to end of boil. Forgot the Irish Moss but turned out clear enough. |

Hops: | 2 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.) .5 oz. Styrian Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.) .5 oz. Styrian Goldings (aroma) |

Carbonation: | Primed with 3 oz of corn sugar boiled in 20 oz of water. | |||||||
Tasting: | Waited a week and a half until we tried it. Suffers from chill haze but has a lovely hop aroma with a subtle hint of ginger. Has a rather light body and the ginger is much more noticeable upon tasting. Next time we will definitely remember the Irish Moss! |
