Braggot

Mix between a dandelion wine, and a braggot.
Start with 4 gallons dandelion blossoms in 4 gallons water, steeped for 2 days, strain and commence to steep.

Color:
7 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 0 IBU
OG: 1.103 FG: 1.020
Alcohol: 10.7% v/v (8.4% w/w)
Grain: .5 lb. British amber
Steep: Steep grains in a grain bag for 20 minutes at 150°
Boil: 20 minutes SG 1.103 4 gallons
3 lb. Light dry malt extract
7 lb. Honey
1 tsp Irish moss added with 5 minutes left.
Hops:
Yeast: Cotes de Blanc rehydrated. Also use 1tsp Acid blend and 1tsp Yeast Energizer
Log: Brewed on May 12, 2008. Will primary for 2 months, then rack to secondary for 5 months before bottling.
Carbonation: not applicable
